It’s a VERY brisk morning in Perry, but the sun is out and shining brightly. The temperature this morning was a whopping 5 degrees when we trekked by the bank on our way down to HeBrews. I had my face covered with a scarf which caused my glasses to fog up more than once, but luckily Brian held my hand and I didn’t fall on the ice or snow.
Our soup pot is filled with Chicken & Wild Rice soup for lunch and we’ve got freshly baked Razzle-B-Berry (raspberry & blueberry) Muffins, Chocolate Chip Scones, Snickerdoodle and Sooner Oat* (cranberry & white chocolate) Cookies just waiting to be eaten today.
Brian is out shoveling the snow off our sidewalk and he looks like a bandit with his scarf across his face! He’ll put ice melt out there too, but do be careful if you decide to visit us today–I’m sure there will still be some slick spots.
What do you do for fun on a snow day? I bake cookies 🙂
*Recipe for Sooner Oat Cookie & explanation of how I came up with the name coming tomorrow…stay tuned!
