Well, I’m going to make a prediction that I will have more blog posts in 2011 than I did in 2010. It’s safe to say that I have not been a consistent blogger, but each new year brings new goals, and a goal of mine is to become a more consistent blogger on the HeBrews Coffee Blog. With the holiday season behind us, it’s time to put away the holiday recipes. No more pumpkin muffins, candy cane mochas, or egg nog white chocolate scones…sigh…but the new year also brings new recipes, so today the cinnamon roll scone made its debut. If you try one, you’ll find a cinnamon-flavored, flaky scone with a buttery-brown sugar-cinnamon filling inside, and powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Heat it up for 10 seconds and I think you’ll agree that the warm cinnamon flavor will go down great with a hot cup of coffee.
Come on in to HeBrews this month to try a new scone or you might just want to buy one of your old favorites. It’s warm and toasty inside–an inviting place to spend some time when it’s below freezing outside.
